1. JAM2010

it's a worship and music camp for youths and youth adults by New Heart Music Ministries. You can check them out! There will be 4 instructors from the USA!

"JAM 2010 = Jesus and Music 2010, a music and worship camp will take you on a journey to discover the life you've always dreamed of. Explore the heart of worship and refine your musical skills through our main sessions, Bible studies and workshops. Expand your musical horizons as you join a worship band and prepare for the JAM2010 EPIC CONCERT. "

Here are the details:

• 21 June - 25 June 2010
• 10am - 5pm
• Kum Yan Methodist Church (Opp Bras Basah Station- Circle Line)
• GROUP RATE = $199 (5 people and above)
• REGULAR RATE = $250
• prices include a JAM tee, handbook/materials, lunch and snacks!
• deadline for registration: 7 June 2010

Its really really interesting! I think on the last day would be the JAM2010 EPIC CONCERT so you guys can play as a band together and lead worship with your new friends from the camp! So, if you want to sign up, hurry (form a group of 5, its more worth it) let me know. I have 5 forms with me. Will need to send it the forms ASAP because there are limited spaces!

2. INTENSIVE BASS GUITAR CLASS

Also organised by the same people from New Heart Music, there's both lectures and practicum sessions. Conducted by Isaque Teng (what a cool name) who has been serving at New Heart for the past 8 years.

Details:

• 26-27 June (Sat & Sun) 4-6pm LECTURE
• 29-30 June (Tues & Wed) 7-9pm PRACTICUM
• Newton Life Church (near Newton MRT Station)
• GROUP RATE= $160 (3 or more people)
• REGULAR RATE=$180
• Deadline: 14 June 2010
• Must bring your own bass and small amp

I think you need to have some basic skills for this one as the above, so bassists, please consider this. I think it's a good opportunity for you guys to learn more from others so that your can widen your "bass knowledge".

3. EVEN THE ROCKS CRY OUT

Something more familiar organised by TRUTHmin. The worship songwriting project. A few of us have gathered already to embark on this project. If you want to participate, get together, write a song and then submit it! Check out the TRUTHmin Website for deets!

Closing date for submission, 31 July 2010.
