Sunday's over once again. As I look back into the past year of worship leading, I noticed a few things. First, the band/worship team has been through alot to where we are today. Second, we have a good bunch of musicians who are willing to commit their lives to serve God and His people. Praise the Lord. However, there is something missing in the equation. The people are not singing during worship. I wonder sometimes, is it the leader, the people or both? If one's life is to be filled with the spirit then no matter what, there will always be an outflow of praise and thanksgiving to God. Again, i wonder...
In case you guys dont know, today was actually my last day worship leading before i head on into army in mid june. It is my prayer that the team continues to grow and shine brightly for Christ. Last words: Live out The Greatest Commandment.
Deuteronomy 6
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
on a side note: I think this band played pretty well for these 2 songs. noticed i said played the song well not lead the song well. hahah anyways enjoy :)
