Theme: The Case For Evangelism
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The only to eternal life is through Jesus. Nothing else. Not by good deeds, not by keeping the laws but by grace through faith, we have been saved.
Now, the time has come to stand for all we believe, the time has come for us let the whole world know who we are praising, who we are serving. All we are is His, all we're living for is for Him - to accomplish His good, pleasing and perfect will.
It brings us joy to serve the holy Lord, for He is great and mighty. We give Him praise for all that He has done. Let now His praises rise up within us as we proclaim how awesome is He.
Nothing is impossible for God. He is the Almighty. He is our Saviour, the author of our salvation, the one granted us His love and mercy, suffered on the cross for our sins, so that we may be forgiven. Indeed let the whole world know, that we're singing for the glory of the risen king.
Mould us Lord, Refine us, so that we can become good stewards. Help us and guide us so that we can make a difference in our land. Be it, at home, in school or with friends. Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity - 1 Tim 4:12
I have chosen today's 5 songs based on the above 5 thoughts. I also picked a Psalm : Come let us sing for Joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud, to the Rock of our salvation, let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music ... I feel that we need to revive the spirit of worship in youth ministry. We're not just singing songs or playing music, we're PRAISING the Lord! Do you know the meaning of praising the ONE? If He is worthy of all our praises, then we should be praising Him with our heart, soul, mind and strength. The Greatest Commandment. Anyways, it's always a joy and privilege to lead in worship. I pray that God will stir up in our hearts a desire to be foolish for Him, to be undignified for Him. If He is worthy of all our praises, then let His name be Magnified through our words, behaviour and life./
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God. 1 Corinthians 1:27-29
