Terri is still thinking of what to say....check back here soon :)

Ok, terri has thought of what to say, thanks jestyn :) haha. well, i just wanna say that i felt really encouraged that people thought that worship was good today, because personally i felt that i didnt really do a good job (refer to me zao-xia-ing at the beginning of some songs and at one point i think i lost timing). but i know that God covers all our inadequacies, and im glad that for all the mistakes, God ministered to the youths. i was also very encouraged to see one of the chen su lan girls singing- well, it shows something! and people lifting their hands. its an affirmation to me, (and i think to jestyn as well) that we're doing it right.

psalm 84, the better is one day psalm is really one of my favourite verses when it comes to worship, because it calls us to forget about the world around us and just focus on God, to dwell in his presence. whats why i always use this verse, well, most of the time, when im leading or co-leading in worship. in the same way, i always want to encourage the youths to draw close to God when they come to church and understand that if they have been far away from God in the week, once they are at church, its time to put aside their anxieties and concerns but to fix their eyes on God. also, being in his house also means that they are to humble themselves before him and give of their all.

and i used the 'canon' style of singing today coz i learnt it in sunday school a long time ago and i thought it might be fun to revisit it. it got messy but oh well, its still fun right! ;)

ok, i've said my piece. let's continue to pray that our worship may be pleasing to the Lord, both in the team and also in our personal lives. -terriberri
